No registration can take place without payment.) For the 2010 season MSS will continue to offer its spring and summer lessons out of primarily backyard pools and a few commercial locations. All pools in September- April are at indoor locations. Beginning in May, MSS will add heated outdoor pools until late June when they also use unheated pools. Safer Swimmer Test For many parents, the number one motivation behind placing their children in swim lessons is for SAFETY! As a swim school, it is our goal to lessen the number of drownings by teaching quality lessons and educating our community about water safety. For this reason, we have developed an optional "Safer Swimmer Test" that is a test solely for the purpose of seeing how a child who has fallen into the water will respond to their circumstances. In this test, the child will need to jump into the water fully dressed, swim a teacher-determined distance, and then get out of the pool unassisted. |
